Habitat: 0 & l on Larix spp., ll & lll on Alnus cordata, A. glutinosa, A. incana, A. rubra and species or cultivars of Betula.
Notes: Very common and widespread on Betula, rare on Alnus. Rarely absent from any area with Betula spp., and especially damaging on leaves of seedling plants.
