Clitocybe amarescens Harmaja, Karstenia 10: 98 (1969)

Clitocybe nitrophila Bon, Docums Mycol. 9(no. 35): 43 (1979)

Habitat: On soil in parks or gardens, often on flowerbeds mulched with woodchip, and usually in troops or large aggregated clumps.

Notes: Rarely reported and possibly a recent introduction. Known from Surrey and West Kent and reported from Scotland. Apparently spreading with the increased use of woody mulches on flowerbeds.
