Habitat: Saprotrophic. On the undersides of piles of lopped Picea sp. brash still bearing decayed needles.

Notes: Known from England (South Hampshire: New Forest, Little Holmhill Inclosure). Reported from Shropshire but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
