Habitat: On soil and in needle litter of conifers.
Notes: Apparently rare. Known from a few old collections from North Wiltshire by Broome between 1849 and 1865, and a few more recent collections from Scotland (Caithness, East Perthshire, Easterness and South Aberdeen). All other records are unsubstantiated with voucher material.
