Habitat: On decayed leaves of Symphytum spp., and apparently restricted to this host, in woodland, hedgerows or on wasteground.

Notes: Rarely reported and even more rarely collected. The majority of the few British records are unsubstantiated with voucher material. Moreover, most cite hosts other than Symphytum spp.
