Marasmius lupuletorum sensu auct.

Habitat: On soil and decayed leaves or woody litter in deciduous woodland, often on calcareous soil. Usually with Fagus and Fraxinus but also reported with Acer pseudoplatanus, Betula and Quercus spp.

Notes: Occasional in England, especially frequent in southern counties. Rarely reported elsewhere.
