Habitat: On decayed conifer wood, usually Pinus sylvestris, but also reported on Larix, Picea and Pseudotsuga spp.
Notes: Common in Scotland, rare elsewhere but possibly increasing as conifer plantations mature. Strictly confined to conifers thus records on deciduous hosts are misdetermined.
