Habitat: On fallen and decayed wood of conifers such as Larix, Picea and Pinus spp., usually on fallen or stacked trunks. A single verified collection on Fagus from South Hampshire (New Forest: Burley Old Inclosure) in herb. K.
Notes: Very common and widespread.
