Habitat: On soil in lowland deciduous woodland with Salix caprea and S. cinerea, in dunes and in upland areas with dwarf Salix spp.

Notes: Known from England (East Kent and South Northumberland) and Scotland (Angus and South Aberdeen). Some collections recorded as R. pascua under dwarf willows may also belong here.
