Habitat: On soil in woodland, amongst needle litter of conifers.

Notes: Rarely reported but apparently widespread. Known from England (North Somerset, Shropshire, South Essex, South Lancashire, South Somerset, West Cornwall, West Sussex and Yorkshire), Scotland (Main Argyll) and Wales (Caernarvonshire and Monmouthshire). Reported from Ireland but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
