Habitat: On fallen, or dead attached, wood or bark of deciduous trees and shrubs, such as Corylus, Crataegus, Fagus and Tilia spp., and a single collection from Rhododendron ponticum.
Notes: Known from England (Berkshire, Dorset, Hertfordshire, North & South Hampshire), Scotland (North Ebudes) and Wales (Breconshire and Caernarvonshire). Reported from Northern Ireland but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
