Habitat: I & III common on Senecio squalidus and S. vulgaris. Also known on Bellis perennis, Calendula officinalis, Senecio jacobaea and cultivated Emilia spp. and Pericallis hybrida.
Notes: Common and widespread. An alien, originally native to Australia and first reported from East Kent (Dungeness) in 1966 from where it has spread throughout the British Isles.
