Geastrum fornicatum (Huds.) Hook., Fl. londin. Edn 2 4: 575 (1821)

Lycoperdon fornicatum Huds., Fl. Angl. 2: 644 (1778)

Habitat: On soil in woodland or in hedgerows with deciduous or coniferous trees. Known with Corylus, Fagus, Larix, Pinus spp. and Taxus. Rarely reported with Urtica dioica in nettlebeds and single records with Alnus in a fen, and Syringa vulgaris in a garden.

Notes: Occasional in England. Rarely reported elsewhere.
