Cortinarius odorifer Britzelm., Ber. naturhist. Augsburg 28: 123 (1885) Habitat: On limestone. British material, rather unusually, associated with Dryas octopetala.
Notes: Known from The Burren. Cortinarius orichalceus sensu Cooke (718) 754 Vol. 5 (1887), sensu Rea (1922) and sensu NCL is probably also this species, although Orton (1955) considered it distinct.
