Habitat: On soil under conifers. British material on an old spoil heap, associated with Pinus nigra, and in a garden, associated with P. sylvestris.

Notes: Two collections, from West Gloucestershire (Forest of Dean) in 1994 and from Cambridgeshire in 2002.
