Habitat: On wood and bark of deciduous trees and shrubs. Known on Fraxinus, Fuchsia magellanica, Hedera, Populus tremula, Prunus avium, Rubus fruticosus agg., Salix spp., and Ulex europaeus.

Notes: Rarely reported. Apparently widespread but most often reported from Scotland.
