Hebeloma ammophilum Bohus, Annls hist.-nat. Mus. natn. hung. 70: 101 (1978)

Habitat: On sandy soil, usually with Salix repens in dried-out dune slacks.

Notes: Known from South Lancashire (Ainsdale Dunes) and Cheviotshire (Holy Island). Reported from Wales (Anglesey: Newborough Warren) but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
