Habitat: On soil in woodland or scrub, reported with deciduous and coniferous trees. Occasionally amongst grass at woodland edges or in grassland.
Notes: Rarely reported. Better known as A. vaporarius and considered by some authorities (e.g. Nauta, FAN5) to be a synonym of A. subperonatus.
