Habitat: On soil, in fens or alder-carr, associated with Alnus and often growing amongst grasses.
Notes: Rarely reported. Known from England (Cambridgeshire, Dorset, Herefordshire, Norfolk, North Hampshire, South Hampshire, Warwickshire, West Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire), Wales (Breconshire and Glamorganshire) and Republic of Ireland (Wexford).
