Habitat: Usually on decayed wood of deciduous trees such as Fagus, Fraxinus and Ulmus spp., and less frequently on conifers such as Abies, Picea, Juniperus communis and Taxus.

Notes: Occasional but widespread in England. Rarely reported elsewhere.
