Habitat: Most collections are on decayed thatch or timber such as window frames or sills. Rarely collected on dead branches of Ulmus spp.

Notes: Known from Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Cumberland, Dorset, South Hampshire, Surrey, West Norfolk and Yorkshire. Other records are unsubstantiated with voucher material.
