Habitat: On soil, in deciduous woodland. British material with Fagus.

Notes: Known from South Essex and West Sussex. Dubiously recorded from Wales by Davies in 1813. Rarely reported elsewhere but most records are unsubstantiated with voucher material. Many probably refer to C. amoenolens.
