Habitat: British material on dead wood (fallen or attached branches) of Pinus radiata and P. sylvestris.

Notes: Rarely reported. Known from several widely scattered locations in Scotland and from South Devon, South Hampshire, and Surrey in England. Reported from Wales but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
