Habitat: British collections on logs and dead trunks of Alnus glutinosa, Betula spp., Picea sitchensis, Pinus sylvestris and Salix sp.
Notes: Rare in the British Isles. Known from England (Berkshire, Cumberland, South Hampshire, Surrey, and West Gloucestershire) and Scotland (South Aberdeenshire).
