Tricholoma populinum J.E. Lange, Dansk bot. Ark. 8(no. 3): 14 (1933)

Habitat: On soil, associated with various species of Populus (but not P. tremula).

Notes: Rarely reported and apparently a genuinely rare species in Britain. Only eight known sites, all in southern and south-eastern England.
