Habitat: On wet soil, and leaf litter in damp woodland. Known on fallen catkins of Salix sp., on needle litter of Picea spp., dead stems of Juncus subnodulosus, decayed fronds of ferns such as Polystichum sp., and on dead woody stems of Rosa or Rubus fruticosus agg.
Notes: Known from England (Berkshire, East & West Norfolk, Northamptonshire, North Somerset, South Devon, Surrey, and Warwickshire) and Wales (Glamorganshire). Reported elsewhere but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
