Habitat: On moribund and partially decayed basidiomes of Clitocybe nebularis.
Notes: Rarely reported. A few records from England from Co. Durham southwards and a single record from Scotland. Said to occur on other Clitocybe and Tricholoma spp., but this is not supported by British records.
