Habitat: On soil in deciduous woodland. Reported also with Taxus and in grassland on dunes.
Notes: Recent collections at K from England (East Sussex, North Somerset, Shropshire, South Essex, and Surrey) and Wales (Radnorshire). Also reported from North Hampshire, South Devon, and Monmouthshire, but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
