Mycena seynii Quél., Bull. Soc. bot. Fr. 23: 351 (1877) [1876]

Habitat: On fallen and decayed cones. British material is on Pinus pinaster and P. radiata.

Notes: Known from Berkshire, North Somerset, South Hampshire and Surrey. The orthography is as above (not ‘seynesii’), because although the species is named after Jules de Seynes, the name is derived from an implicit latinization to ‘Seynius’.
