Habitat: On soil, in mixed deciduous woodland, parkland and occasionally gardens.
Notes: Rarely reported. Known from Berkshire, East Sussex, South Essex, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Shropshire and Surrey. Reported elsewhere in England and from a single location in Wales (Glamorganshire) but unsubstantiated with voucher material.
